Just a quick note to confirm that we are still very much in business, and that we expect to re-open our custom order slots shortly. "Little Bear," now known as David Jonah, is doing great and recently started sleeping through the night with some consistency. The sewing machine's siren call is becoming more irresistable by the day. In the meanwhile, our in stock items are still available for order.

Title: Little Bear is almost here!
PishyPants is excited to announce the imminent arrival of our newest employee: Our son will be delivered on Monday, June 5, 2006 (if he doesn't decide to arrive earlier on his own). In anticipation of his birth, we have temporarily removed our custom order slots, so they are all marked as "sold out." All in-stock items are still available for order - just please bear with us if it takes an extra day or so to make it to the post office on orders placed during the next two weeks or so.

Title: New Fabrics Added
We have added four new fabrics to our selection. They are: Hoops (a basketball print), Frogs (a playful cartoon frog print), Pink Swirl (an abstract pink swirly wave pattern), and Nebula. Nebula did not photograph well, but it looks FANTASTIC in person. It shimmers and is much more colorful and bright than the photograph of it makes it seem. It is just camera-shy. Please note the following: soakers now fall under an exception to our free shipping policy. If your purchase consists of nothing but soakers, then you will be charged the actual cost of shipping. We must do this because we charge so little for soakers that often times it costs us more to ship them then the total amount charged for the order. If this applies, we will e-mail you after receiving your order to provide you with the actual shipping charge amount. (Shipping is still free if soakers are a part of your order - this exception only applies where soakers are the entire order).

Title: New super soakers
We at PishyPants Labs have been feverishly designing new soaker inserts, and yesterday was their unveiling. Our new soakers are two full layers of hemp fleece that are tri-folded to form six full layers of wetness absorption, topped with either suedecloth or microfleece. They have, at the buyer's option, hook-and-loop closures to help with the tri-folding. They fasten securely to the diaper with snaps that never come in contact with baby's bottom. In short, they provide superior absorption and are much more quick to dry since they can be unfolded prior to washing. We are quite proud of them.
